I think it is accurate to call him the "Father of American Islamic Literture" and I have done so in the work on his life and writings that I am presently doing. The first text in the canon is in English and was dictated by Job ben Solomon in 1730 and can also be called the first British Muslim text. Muhammed al-Ahari Assalam aliekum,
